…you knock off the best, right? I’ve always loved the Le Chat Noir poster with its masterfully-painted cat. He stares you down and forcefully demands your attention in ways that cannot be refused. So I said ‘feck it’ and totally ripped-off the poster for my own ends:

Some more work is needed on layout (it needs a big black cat) and typography, but this isn’t too bad for two hours of fooling around. Look out for it at a PetsSmart and Petco near you soon!
Welcome to the new domain, one and all! :D

‘Tis said of love that it sometimes goes, sometimes flies; runs with one, walks gravely with another; turns a third into ice, and sets a fourth in a flame: it wounds one, another it kills: like lightning it begins and ends in the same moment: it makes that fort yield at night which it besieged but in the morning; for there is no force able to resist it.”
I went in search of a ”thunder and lightning” quote to header this photopost and accidentally came back with a quote whose beauty and elegance stuck me dumb.

We’ve had amazingly fun weather for the past week: Sultry grey skies, rain, lightning, thunder and spectacularly grand cloud castles forming, breaking apart and forming anew in the air above the valley. The dawns have been gorgeous and the sunsets jaw-dropping, but my lone contributions from this are a lonely dawn panorama and some blurry lightning photographed from under the cover of my jacket.

Rise – commute – work – commute – home -dinner – kids – shower – sleep. I get maybe an hour per day to process and upload images and do take care of those essential little tasks for relaunching. I still have to assemble photobook templates, flyer templates, business card templates, and to push out my advertising on Craigslist, Facebook and MySpace.
And there is a second child on the way. When did my life take on this sheen of the daily adult grind? Two years ago my biggest choice was whether I should go for a photowalk or log into World of Warcraft and do an instance with my guild.
Caira’s birthday photos are still coming. Honest.
Caira turned three years old today. The big day began with Caira downing hot mug of coffee and eating a doughnut and ended up with an epic four hour visit to Chuck E Cheese’s for pizza and games where she ran seven adults ragged. Caira surprised me by planing other children. She scared them. She was scared by them. They screamed at each other incoherently, but they all had fun.
I think.
We got home, put Caira into bed and watched her as she passed out while watching Army of Darkness and babbling about her new Pinky Pony.
For myself, I had seven hundred photos of the past two days that I have cut down to a more manageable 191, of which I hope to post some over the coming days. I’m trashed, but I will leave you with a bleary Caira enjoying her morning mug of coffee:
